Muang Sri Mahosoth Archaeological Remains,
located in Ban Kok Wat, Kok Peep
Subdistrict, date as far back as Dvaravati Period. Covering and an area of 700 rai, the oval-shaped city is surrounded by ditches and dikes. Within Muang Sri Mahosoth Archaeological Remains are found mounds, ponds and wells, religious buildings, idols and lingum. Important archaeological ruins in Muang Sri Mohosoth include Amid-City Archaeological Remains, Golden Mountain, Archaeological Remains No 25 and Sa Kaeo Archaeological Remains. To access Muang Sri Mahosoth Archaeological Remains, take Highway 319 and turn left at Km 130 into Highway 3070.
