1. Sri Maha Bodhi Tree

Sri Maha Bodhi Tree,
oldest in Thailand, stands in Wat Ton Pho Sri Maha Bodhi. As a symbol of the Province of Prachin Buri, Sri Maha Bodhi Tree is over 2,000 years old. According to a legend widely told in the province, King Dvanampayadit of Muang Sri Mahosoth sent his delegation to India in order to ask for an offshoot of the Bodhi Tree under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment from King of Patulibutra. To access the 20-meter-round and 30-meter-high Bodhi Tree, follow Highway 319 and turn left at Km 129.
