2. Lum Muang




Lum Muang (literally means city holes),
found in Soi Tessaban 10, Sri Maha Bodhi
Subdistrict, are dug into laterite ground. According to King Rama 5's point of view, these 48 holes were for pounding out lime of which designs on Prangs and Prasats were made. But old people said the holes were for playing a local game.
