Prachin Buri National Museum,
located behind town hall, displays historical and archaeological objects. As a center of antiques found in Eastern Thailand and neighboring provinces, the museum comprises two floors. The ground floor displays the history of Prachin Buri, archaeological items discovered in Nakhon Nayok and special exhibitions while the second floor exhibits Thai archaeology, pre-historic archaeology in Eastern Thailand, undersea archaeology including Sangkhalok wares found undersea and temporary exhibitions. Archaeological objects like images of Buddha, idols, lingum, lintel, bronze wares, etc. date as far back as Dvaravati Period.
